The FarmhouseThe farm (The name means "The Sheep Ford" in English) has pasture land, rough grazing, woodlands and rivers. It is a comfortable, traditional, Welsh stone built farmhouse where guests can relax and unwind in our oak beamed lounge with it's impressive inglenook fireplace, with woodburning stove and colour TV, or just sit in our conservatory and take in the peace and tranquility which is always on hand in the Snowdonia National Park. Both Welsh and English are spoken by Mrs. Davies and her family. You can be sure of a warm welcome at Rhydydefaid Farm, with a tea and homemade cake on your arrival. Rhydydefaid Farm has four letting bedrooms, all of which are tastfully decorated. Family bedroom (double and sofa bed) with
exposed oak beams and trusses, has shower ensuite facilities and TV. Twin bedroom and single room
have washbasins and share a bathroom, bathroom(newly reburbished) or can be used as private with twin room.All rooms serviced daily. Evening meals
available locally,a "Restaurant folder" comprising a list of local eating places and their sample menus,all specializing in using exellent local/seasonal produce whenever possible. Packed lunches are made to your order at our village shop.
Payment may be made by cash or personal cheques (if accompanied by a current cheque guarantee card) or credit card or debit card. (Debit card payment - no charge. Credit cards subject to 1.45% fee. ) To confirm a booking please send a cheque for first night's stay within 4 working days. Cheques to be made payable to Mrs O Davies. In the event of a cancellation we respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between the guests and Rhydydefaid Farm . We are easy to find: From Bala, take the A4212, sign posted "Trawsfynydd", for 3 miles to the village of Frongoch. 20 metres before the village shop (on the left), turn left off the main road, it is signposted Rhydydefaid Farm B&B,and follow signs to the farm.
