Welcome to our traditional Welsh stone built farmhouse at Frongoch, Nr Bala. Enjoy a warm Welsh hospitality on our 100 acre mixed working farm, which parts of dates back over 400 years. You can be sure of a warm welcome at Rhydydefaid Farm, with refreshments and a home­made cake on your arrival. Bed & Breakfast in the farmhouse or self-catering in our static caravan (in it's own garden) are available.

We are ideally situated for touring Snowdonia National Park and mid Wales. In every direction there are scenic drives with outstanding mountain views, beautiful lakes and rivers. Bala is best known for the National White Water centre only a mile away, which is recognised as one of the World's leading Canoe slalom and wild water courses, you too can experience the thrill of white water rafting by 'riding the rapids' in one of the centre's rafts. Walking holidays in the Arenig, Berwyn and Aran mountain ranges where you will encounter breathtaking scenery.
We are three miles from Bala Lake, excellent fishing is available on the lakes and rivers nearby as well as golf,sailing and Ten pin bowling." AdventureMountain" and Sheepdog Centre only 15mins away. - mountain bike trails, something for everybody - 20mins away. Also 4x4 off road centre nearby.If the weather is not favourable the sport centre at Bala with its varied activities will surely keep you occupied.A special way of seeing the best scenery in Wales- the Great Welsh little trains.
